Nothing Slips Through the Cracks
At Boomtown, we understand just how vital mere seconds are to making satisfied support customers. Getting the right notifications to the right individuals at the right time is critical to satisfactory and prompt issue resolution. We’ve revamped our notifications to make sure that nothing slips through the cracks for our users.
Issue Status Notifications
We’ve added notifications for issue status changes so users can easily keep tabs on the issues that are relevant to them. For example, if an issue changes to a status of ‘Completed’ the Issue Owner and any users designated as Collaborators will receive desktop notifications in Relay as well as via Email depending upon the users’ notification preferences.
Shipment Status Notifications
In addition to notifications for issue status changes, we’ve also added notifications for changes to the status of shipments association with an issue. Shipment statuses update in real-time based on the tracking information, so Boomtown users will now be able to keep track of urgent shipments without having to log into the carrier’s website and input the tracking number.
Just like the issue status notifications, these will appear as desktop notifications in Relay as well as via Email depending upon the users’ notification preferences.
Notification Preferences for Customers
To further build upon our notification enhancements, we added the ability for customers to personalize the notifications of their individual user accounts. This means that multiple users at the same merchant location can each have their own custom settings for when and where notifications appear.
